DUSHANBE, August 8, Asia-Plus – MKS – Officers from the directorate of Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) for Bashkiria republic have intercepted a large amount of heroin.
MSK quoted press service of the FSB directorate for Bashkiria as saying that some 7.2 kilograms of heroin had been found in a boot of a car. Among passengers were three Tajik nationals. The driver and his passengers were detained on suspicion of having been involved in drug trafficking.
Criminal proceedings have been instituted against them and an investigation is under way.
