DUSHANBE, August 14, Asia-Plus – APA – Tajik President Emomali Rahmon, who is currently on his two-day official visit to Azerbaijan, today met with Azeri Prime Minister Artour Rasizade and Milli Majlis (Azeri parliament) speaker Ogtay Asadov, Azeri Press Agency (APA) reported.
President Rahmon’s discussions with Azeri PM focused on regional cooperation, energy partnership and international issues. Both sides vowed to boost regional cooperation in different fields.
Issues related to expansion of parliamentary cooperation between the two countries and economic integration were top majors of a meeting of President Rahmon with Ogtay Asadov, speaker of the Milli Majlis (Azerbaijan’s parliament).
