DUSHANBE, August 21, Asia-Plus -- Tajikistan’s gross domestic product (GDP) rose 7.5 percent in the year to August 1, 2007 in comparable prices, reaching 5,933,504,300 somonis (equivalent to more than $1.724 billion), the State Committee for Statistics said.
According to preliminary data of the Ministry of Finance (MoF), production of goods has amounted to 38.7 percent of GDP, rendering paid service to the production have mounted to 48.3 percent of GDP and tax collection – 13 percent
