DUSHANBE, September 6, Asia-Plus — The National Bank of Tajikistan has issued jubilee coins dedicated to the 800th anniversary of great Persian-Tajik poet, jurist and theologian Mawlana Jalal ad-Din Muhammad Rumi.  

Tajik central bank said that tin all, 101,000 coins of 1 somoni’s denomination had been issued.  1,000 of them were produced from the precious metal (silver) and 1000,000 others were produced from the nonferrous metal (cooper-nickel-zinc alloy).
