DUSHANBE, September 28, Asia-Plus — Tajikistan and Malta have signed a communiqué on establishment of diplomatic relations.
Davlat Nazriyev, the head of the Tajik MFA information department, said that the Tajik Ambassador to Russia Abdulmajid Dostiyev and Malta’s Ambassador to Russia Mario Kosta signed the document in Moscow on September 25.
“Diplomatic relations had been established for the purpose of promoting development of mutual understanding and strengthening of friendship and cooperation between the two countries,” the spokesman for the MFA said.
