DUSHANBE, October 3, Asia-Plus – According to the draft agenda of the CIS summit in Dushanbe, 19 issues are expected to be discussed in the Tajik capital on October 5.
Among the main issues to be discussed at the meeting are the concept of further development of CIS, the plan of main events on implementation of it, as well as proposals on concerted migration policy within the CIS area.
Besides, a number of documents will be discussed without discussions. These documents include an agreement on establishment of the council of the CIS migration service heads, a protocol on approval of regulations on organization of interaction between border and other services in settling crisis situations on exterior borders of CIS, a treaty on preventing legalization (laundry) of criminal incomes and financing of terrorism, programs for cooperation in fighting terrorism and transnational crime, an agreement on cooperation in countering theft of cultural relics, an agreement on social and legal guarantees for personnel of the CIS collective peacekeeping force, an agreement on financial and technical support for activity and personnel of the CIS collective peacekeeping forces, a statement of heads of state on intensification of cooperation in fighting drug trafficking, etc.
