DUSHANBE, October 12, Asia-Plus -- Four soldiers were killed and at least 10 others were injured Thursday as a truck with 13 servicemen on board fell into precipice in the Jirgatol district, Asia-Plus ahs learned at Tajik traffic police directorate. .   

The accident took place yesterday morning on the 151st kilometer of the highway Dushanbe-Jirgatol.      

            “The driver probably could not control the vehicle and a truck Ural with 13 servicemen on board fell into 25-meter precipice,” said the source, “Four servicemen, Jamshed Tursunov (Khujand), Akram Nishonboyev (Asht), Abdumannon Nematov (Istaravshan) and Daler Nosirov (Hamadoni), died on the scene of the accident and 10 others, including the driver were injured and taken the military hospital in Dushanbe.”  

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
