DUSHANBE, December 3, Asia-Plus -- Officers from the Tajik counternarcotics agency have warded off an attempt of drug pushing in Dushanbe.
Information posted on website of the Drug Control Agency (DCA) said that two residents of Dushanbe were detained on Dushanbe’s Ganjina market yesterday on suspicion of having been involved in drug pushing. Some 12 kilograms of heroin were confiscated from one of them.
When searching his house, the drug control officers found 6.456 kilograms of cannabis.
Criminal proceedings have been instituted against them and an investigation is under way.
