DUSHANBE, December 12, Asia-Plus -- During his official visit to Turkmenistan, Tajik President Emomali Rahmon yesterday afternoon visited a cluster of oil refineries in Turkmenbashi, Tajik presidential press service said.
$1.6 billion has been spent for modernization of the enterprise that has allowed doubling its capacity. The enterprise now produces practically all kinds of oil products.
During President Rahmon’s visit to Turkmenbashi it was also noted that trains cars loaded with refinery coke departed from Turkmenbashi to Tursunzoda for Tajik aluminum company (Talco) on December 11
