DUSHANBE, December 22, Asia-Plus – The Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) member countries'' parliament heads will attend the first meeting of the newly-elected State Duma on December 24, the head of the working group for preparation of the first meeting, Oleg Kovalyov, told reporters on Friday.
All the heads of the parliaments are invited, he said, adding that participation confirmations were not received from all of them. He said there was no confirmation from Kyrgyzstan where parliamentary elections took place recently and the parliament was not formed completely yet, and Tajikistan was silent so far.
The CSTO groups Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.
