DUSHANBE, December 24 – The Sunday presidential elections in Uzbekistan had a turnout of 90.6%, Central Elections Commission Chairman Mirzo-Ulugbek Abdusalomov said in comments on the preliminary information.
“More than 14.76 million out of nearly 16.3 million voters visited polling stations. The elections complied with democratic norms and constitutional principles,” he said.
