DUSHANBE, February 15, Asia-Plus -- A meeting of Miralisho Mirzoyev, the first deputy head of the Tajik State Committee for National Security (GKNB) also chief of Tajik border troops, with his Uzbek counterpart, the head of the border service within the Uzbek National Security Service (SNB), Ilham Ibragimov, that was held in Dushanbe yesterday resulted in signing of a complex plan of interaction between the border services of the two countries for this year.
Khoushnoud Rahmatulloyev, a spokesman for the main border directorate within the GKNB, told Asia-Plus that the plan provides for interaction on protection of common border at all levels of border services.
During the meeting, Mirzoyev and Ibragimov also discussed issues related to settlement of border conflicts.
