DUSHANBE, March 11, Asia-Plus – After being closed fro three months, Payghomi Rushon , an official newspaper of GBAO’s Rushon district, was brought out on March 10.
The Payghomi Rushon editor Lutfisho Qimmatshoyev told the Khorog news agency Pamir Media that the last edition of the newspaper had been printed in Dushanbe.
“Suspension in publication of the newspaper resulted from technical problems as printing machine at the regional publishing house became unserviceable in December 2007,” Qimmatshoyev said, adding that earlier, the newspaper had been published in Dushanbe but since November 2007, by district authorities’ resolution Payghomi Rushon has been published in the regional publishing house in Khorog.
Ms. Zebo Khalifayeva, the chairperson of the regional publishing house, said that the printing machine had been repaired and put into operation recently.
