DUSHANBE, April 2, Asia-Plus -- Tajik commercial industrial bank of reconstruction and development, Tajprombank has provided some 2.657 million somonis (equivalent to some $774,600) in loans to 160 cotton-growing farms in the Khatlon province, according to bank’s head office in Dushanbe.
The source at Tajprombank said that the totaled included 253,000 somonis ($103,800) of the bank’s capital and the remainder had been allocated by the Ministry of Finance (MoH) for providing loan to cotton farms through Tajprombank.
Loans have been provided to cotton-growing farms in the districts of Bokhtar, Vakhsh, Khuroson, Jilikul, Kulob, Vose and Yovon at 14 percent annual interest, the source said.
