DUSHANBE, July 28, 2008, Asia-Plus -- Minister of Finance Safarali Najmuddinov told a press conference in Dushanbe on July 25 that over the first six months of this year, the Ministry of Finance (MoF) has signed six loan and grant agreements for a total amount of $37.1 million.
According to him, this amount includes $25 million provided in a form of grants.
The minister noted that 40 investment projects are currently implemented in the country in cooperation with international financial institutions. 575 million somonis of loan funds have been drawn over the report period, Najmuddinov said.
