DUSHANBE, July 29, 2008, Asia-Plus -- Russian Defense Minister Anatoly Serdyuk is arriving in Dushanbe tomorrow for an official two-day visit, according to the Ministry of Defense (MoD).
The source at a MoD said that during his stay in Tajikistan, Serdyuk is scheduled to hold talks with his Tajik counterpart, Colonel-General Sherali Khairulloyev, and President Emomali Rahmon to discuss bilateral military and military-technical cooperation between the Russian Federation and Tajikistan. They sides will also consider issues related to training of military personnel for Tajik national army at Russian military schools, the source said.
During his stay in Dushanbe, the Russian minister also intends to visit headquarters of the Russian military base in Tajikistan.
