DUSHANBE, September 15, 2008, Asia-Plus -- A regular meeting of chiefs of drug control departments within the law enforcement agencies, special and customs services from member nations of the CIS will be held in Dushanbe from September 18-20, Asia-plus has learned from Mahmadullo Asadulloyev, a spokesman for the Ministry of Interior (MoI).
The meeting is aiming to consider issues related to coordination and interaction in carrying out joint operation, investigating criminal groups with international ties, as well as exchange of information on combating drug trafficking.
The meeting will be presided over by head of the Bureau for Coordination of the Organized Crime Prevention within the CIS Executive Committee, Alexander Bokov, the spokesman said.
