DUSHANBE, October 8, 2008, Asia-Plus – Islamic Republic of Iran will establish some 10 new branches of Payam-e Nour University in different countries in the near future, IRNA reported on October 7.
Announcing this, managing director of Payam-e Nour University underlined that the branches will be set up in Doha (Qatar), Zagreb (Croatia), Azerbaijan Republic, Turkey, Bahrain, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Belarus and Canada.
"Once the plan becomes operational, the number of Payam-e Nour branches in foreign countries will reach 16," Mohammad Hosseini added.
He said that the measures entail no financial burdens on the government, adding the branches'' expenses will be met from tuition fees charged from students.
