DUSHANBE, October 8, 2008, Asia-Plus -- An Austrian delegation led by Mr. Richard Schens, Vice-President of Austria’s Federal Economic Chamber, will arrive in Tajikistan on October 16 for a two-day working visit, according to the Tajik MFA.
The purpose of the visit is for the delegation that will comprise some 20 representatives of different Austrian companies representing different branches of Austrian industry, to discuss with Tajik officials issues related to expansion of bilateral cooperation between the two countries and establishment of business contacts to promote further expansion of mutually beneficial economic cooperation, the MFA press service said.
During their stay in Tajikistan, members of the Austrian delegation are scheduled to hold talks with Foreign Minister Hamrokhon Zarifi and senior representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade (MoEDT).
In the meantime, the visit of Kuwaiti Minister Foreign Minister Sheikh Dr Mohammed Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah to Tajikistan, scheduled for October 13-14 has been postponed to later term.
