DUSHANBE, October 27, 2008, Asia-Plus -- Tajik state natural-gas distributor, Tojikgaz, and power holding, Barqi Tojik (Tajik electric systems), will be reorganized in the near future, the head of the State Committee for Investments and State-owned Property (GosComInvest) Farrukh Hamraliyev announced at a press service in Dushanbe on October 24.
According to him, the individual plans for restructuring Tojikgaz and Barqi Tojik have been submitted for consideration to the government.
Hamraliyev noted that the project for restructuring Tojikgaz was already endorsed by government’s resolution of August 27, 2008.
As it had been reported earlier, a process of reorganization of Tajik national air carrier, TajikAir, began on October 1. TajikAir will be divided into six separate enterprises that will cooperate with each other on contractual basis.
