DUSHANBE, November 4, 2008, Asia-Plus -- The state unitary enterprise Tajikagrileasing within the Ministry of Agriculture (MoA) has opened logistics centers in GBAO’s Darvoz, Rushan, Roshtqala, Ishkashim and Murgab districts.
Speaking in an interview with Asia-Plus, Narzullo Dadaboyev, a spokesman for a MoA, noted that such a center currently operates in Khatlon’s Danghara district and another logistics centers are expected to be set up in districts of the Rasht Valley as well.
According to him, the logistics centers provide local farming units with fuel and spare parts as well as lease tractors MTZ-82 assembled by Tajik-Iranian JV TojIron and other agricultural machines to them.
“Tajikagrileasing has delivered 172 tractors and other agricultural machines for a total amount of 7.7 million somoni to the country over the first nine months of this year,” said the spokesman, “Besides, Tajikagrileasing has also signed agreements with 64 farming units on leasing agricultural machines to them.”
Tajikagrileasing was established in November 2007 and 8 million somoni were allocated from the national budget for purchase of agricultural machines.
