DUSHANBE, November 5, 2008, Asia-Plus -- The Government of Japan continues supporting enhancement of cultural and educational spheres in Tajikistan through providing no-stings aid to the country.
On Tuesday November 4, a grant agreement for 39.1 million yens, equivalent to 360,900 US dollars, was signed in Dushanbe between the Government of Tajikistan, represented by Hamrokhon Zarifi, Foreign Minister, and the Government of Japan, represented by Yoshiro Nakayama, Charge D’ Affaires, Japan’s Embassy in Dushanbe, according to the MFA information department.
The grant is awarded for financing the project for improvement of programs of the Tajik national TV Channel Safina.
