DUSHANBE, November 27, 2008, Asia-Plus  -- On Wednesday November 26, Agriculture Minister Qosim Qosimov met here with Israel’s non-resident Ambassador to Tajikistan, Mr. Ehud Gol, who is based in Jerusalem.

According to press service of the Ministry of Agriculture (MoA), the sides discussed opportunities of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Israel in developing new technologies in the fields of plant growing, poultry, greenhouse, etc.

In the course of the talks, Qosimov appreciated Israel’s support for organization of training courses for Tajik specialists through Israel’s Center for International Cooperation, MASAV, and Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Narzullo Dadaboyev, a spokesman for a MoA, noted.

The minister offered expansion of bilateral cooperation in growing cotton, grains and citrus plants.

For his part, Ehud Gol expressed readiness to promote further expansion of cooperation through sending Israeli specialists to Tajikistan and organizing training course of Tajik specialists in Israel, Dadaboyev said.
