DUSHANBE, December 5, 2008, Asia-Plus -- Chairman of the Majlisi Milli (Tajikistan’s upper chamber of parliament), Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev, today left Shanghai for Urumqi, the capital of the Xinjinag-Uighur Autonomous Region (XUAR) in northwest China.
Shavkat Saidov, an aide to the Majlisi Milli speaker for press and public affairs, reported from China that in Urumqi, Ubaidulloyev visited local market and held talks with held talks with Eligen Imil, chairman of the Standing Committee of the XUAR People’s Assembly.
