DUSHANBE, December 9, 2008, Asia-Plus -- Speaking to reporters in Dushanbe on December 9, Kazakh Ambassador to Tajikistan, Mr. Abutalip Akhmetov, noted that an air route to link Dushanbe and Astana, Kazakhstan is expected to be launched in March 2009.
According to him, the new air route between the two countries is economically sound.
“At first, Tajik air carrier is supposed to operate this flight and Kazakh air company, Air Astana, will join it later,” Kazakh diplomat said.
