KHUJAND, December 11, 2008, Asia-Plus -- In January-November 2008, Sughd law enforcement authorities have seized 759.6 kilograms of narcotics, which is 138.7 percent fewer than in the same period of last year, according to the Sughd counternarcotics directorate.
A totaled included 322.1 kilograms of heroin, 315 kilograms of raw opium, 154 kilograms of cannabis and 3.5 kilograms of other types of narcotics.
238 drug-related crimes have been registered in the region over the same eleven-month period.
