KHOROG, December 15, 2008, Asia-Plus  -- By resolution passed by the Committee for TV and Radio-broadcasting under the Government of Tajikistan on December 13 Ms. Zulfiya Lashkarbekova was appointed as chairperson of the GBAO Regional Committee for TV and Radio-broadcasting, replacing Mirzoaziz Mirzoqandov.

Mirzoqandov resigned voluntarily.  Ms. Lashkarbekova had previously worked as an editor with the GBAO Committee for TV and Radio-broadcasting.
