KULOB, December 16, 2008, Asia-Plus -- In January-November 2008, officers from the Kulob city tax inspectorate have transferred to the national and the Kulob city budgets totaling 11,192,376 somonii, which is nearly 3.5 million somoni more than it was originally planned, the Kulob city tax inspectorate chief Saidsilom Ismoilov told Asia-Plus today.
According to him, it has become possible due to appearance of new taxpayers in the city over the report period and measures introduced against the most incorrigible tax-dodgers.
“Since the beginning of this year we have won all the ten cases against the tax dodgers,” Ismoilov said, noting that the city coordination council comprising representatives of the mayor’s office, police, prosecutor’s office, court, tax and customs service, has helped collect funds from tax-dodgers.
