DUSHANBE, December 26, 2008, Asia-Plus -- The Interior Ministry department for combating drug trafficking (drug police) burned 483.1 kilograms of drugs, including 297.754 kilograms of heroin, at the Tajiktekstilmash plant in Dushanbe on December 26.
According to the Interior Ministry press service, the drugs were confiscated by the drug police officers in the course of 2007-2008. The narcotics were material evidences on 76 drug-related criminal proceedings.
