KHUJAND, December 26, 2008, Asia-Plus -- An official opening of an enterprise for producing gypsum plasterboards, Nourteks, was held in Khujand, Sughd province on December 24.
Speaking in an interview with Asia-Plus, the Sughd energy and industries department head Sodiq Rustamov said that introduction of Nourteks into operation had allowed placing in jobs 100 local. The enterprise has the rated capacity of 1 million square meters of the gypsum plasterboards per year.
According to him, the enterprise has been launched by the Khujand-based limited liability company, Nour, under technical support of Chinese specialists.
“In all, 233 industrial enterprises now operate in the province; 13 of them have been introduced into operation this year,” Rustamov said.
