DUSHANBE, January 8, 2009, Asia-Plus -- Outgoing British Ambassador to Tajikistan, Mr., Graeme Loten, yesterday met with Foreign Minister Hamrokhon Zarifi at the end of his tenure to the Republic of Tajikistan, according to the Tajik MFA information department.
In the course of the talks, the two discussed a broad range of issues related to state and prospects of further expansion of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and the United Kingdom as well as international and regional issues being of mutual interest.
Zarifi expressed gratitude to Mr. Loten for his considerable contribution to strengthening of friendship between the two countries, the information department said.
