DUSHANBE, January 28, 2009, Asia-Plus -- On Tuesday January 27, new France’s Ambassador to Tajikistan Henry Zipper de Fabiani presented a copy of credentials to Foreign Minister Hamrokhon Zarifi, according to the MFA information department.
In the course of the talks, the two discussed state and prospects of further expansion of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and France as a number of international and regional issues being of mutual interest.
Ambassador Henry Zipper de Fabiani, who arrived in Dushanbe on January 26, replaced Mr. Olivier Maitland Pelen, who had served as France’s Ambassador to Tajikistan for more than two years.
