DUSHANBE, February 25 2009, Asia-Plus -- A new secondary school for children of servicemen of Russian military base has opened within the compound of the base’s garrison in Qurghon Teppa, the capital of the Khatlon province.
According to the Russian military base headquarters in Dushanbe, a two-storey school to accommodate 120 people opened in Qurghon Teppa on February 23.
“It is already the third school built for children of Russian servicemen in Tajikistan,” said the source, “Besides, each of our garrisons has its own kindergartens. Therefore, it is safe to say that the issue of ensuring preschool and school education has been solved completely.”
