KULOB, February 25, 2009, Asia-Plus -- Tax debts of Khatlon’s Temourmalik district have amounted to more than 3.5 million somoni to this date.
The source at the Kulob regional tax inspectorate noted that tax debts of 17 local farming units alone amounted to 1.936 million somoni. “The major part of farmers’ tax debts has been inherited from the time of reorganization of former state and collective farms,” the source said.
Besides, local water economy department now owes 215,800 somoni to the national budget and tax debts of different firms and public associations based in Temourmalik amount to 350,900 somoni, according to the Kulob regional tax inspectorate.
