DUSHANBE, February 28, 2009, Asia-Plus -- A coordinating meeting with representatives of donors and executing agencies implementing public health support projects in the country was held at the Ministry of Health (MoH) in Dushanbe on February 27.
According to the MoH press service, issues related to continuing medical education (CME) and introduction of family medicine were among major topics of the meeting.
The meeting participants, in particular, reviewed technical tasks and guidelines of load for medical workers, as well as issues related to paid medical services.
The objective of the meeting was to determine priorities of bilateral cooperation and further joint work on developing the public health enhancement strategy for Tajikistan, the press service said.
