KHUJAND, March 27, 2009, Asia-Plus -- Remittances from other regions of Tajikistan to post offices in the northern Sughd province have significantly decreased.
According to the Sughd branch of Pochtai Tojik (Tajik Post Office), little more than 83,000 somoni have been remitted to local post offices over the first two months of this year, which is 196,000 somoni fewer than in the same period of 2008.
