DUSHANBE, March 30, 2009, Asia-Plus -- Officers from the GBAO counternarcotics directorate have discovered a large drug cache in GBAO”s Murgab district, according to press service of the Drug Control Agency (DCA).
The DCA press service said that 26.5 kilograms of hashish and one sub-machine-gun Kalashnikov had been extracted from the hide.
Criminal proceedings have been instituted on drug charges and an investigation is under way to identify the owner of the drug cache.
