DUSHANBE, April 1, 2009, Asia-Plus -- The UNDP Tajikistan has handed over 55,000 euros worth of seven sets of the AIDS/HIV testing lab equipment to the Ministry of Health (MoH) today morning.
According to the UNDP Dushanbe Office, the equipment are intended for AIDS/HIV prevention centers in Darvoz, Danghara, Istaravhan, Rushan, Rumi, Hissor and Shahrinav districts.
Last year, the UNDP Tajikistan provided assistance with renovation of the majority of the mentioned centers and conducted training seminars for lab personnel.
