DUSHANBE, April 13, 2009, Asia-Plus -- Tajik Prosecutor-General Bobojon Bobokhonov is attending the 7th session of chief prosecutors from member nations of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) that has opened in Moscow today morning.
According to the Prosecutor-General’s Office, the meeting is discussing issues related to protection of rights of citizens, prevention of economic crimes under the conditions of the global financial crisis, fight against religious extremist organizations, drug trafficking and transnational organized crime.
The Shanghai Cooperation Organization groups China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
