DUSHANBE, May 4, 2009, Asia-Plus -- An operation carried out by officers from the Drug Control Agency (DCA) in Dushanbe on May 1 led to the seizure of more than 7 kilograms of heroin, according to the DCA press service.
“One package of heroin was confiscated from the Dushanbe resident H.S. and two other packages of heroin were found in a house of L.B.,” said the source, “A total weight of the confiscated heroin was 7.65 kilograms.”
Both drug pushers were detained and criminal proceedings were instituted against them; an investigation is under way.
