DUSHANBE, May 11, 2009, Asia-Plus -- The 20th session of the Joint Control Group (JCG) was held in Dushanbe on May 4-8, according to the MFA information department.
The session participants included diplomatic and defense representatives of Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Russia and Tajikistan on the one hand and delegation of China on the other hand.
The JCG holds its session twice a year, in spring and autumn, by turn in the mentioned countries bordering China and China itself to discuss issues related to providing security on the border.
The Dushanbe session considered further activity of the Group and appropriate concerted decisions made on the Group’s activity, the MFA information department said.
