NOUROBOD, May 22, 2009, Asia-Plus - 232 families from villages in Nourobod district (eastern Tajikistan) that are located in the area allocated for construction of the Roghun reservoir have been resettled to Khatlon’s Danghara district.
Speaking in an interview with Asia-Plus, the deputy head of Nourobod, Dodarjon Jobirov, said that 232 families from villages of Sari Pul, Hakimi and Chorsada moved the Danghara district on May 20. “They were placed in the Chorsada village in Danghara,” said Jobirov, “All necessary conditions have been created for them there and they will begin building houses in the near future.”
