DUSHANBE, July 1, 2009, Asia-Plus -- Issues related to further expansion of bilateral economic cooperation between Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan were a major topic a meeting of Tajikistan’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chairman (CCI) Sharif Said with Kyrgyz Ambassador to Tajikistan Turatbek Jushunaliyev that was held in Dushanbe on June 30, according to the CCI press service.
In the course of the talks, Said and Jushunaliyev discussed negative impact of the ongoing global financial crisis on economies of the two countries as well as participation in World Expo 2010 in Shanghai.
Pointing out not a bad dynamic of development of bilateral relations, Kyrgyz ambassador, however, noted that there was considerable room for expansion of economic ties, the press service said.
The sides came to an agreement on further exchange of business information and expansion of bilateral cooperation in different fields.
