DUSHANBE, July 10, 2009, Asia-Plus -- Outgoing Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Canada to Tajikistan, Ms. Margaret Skok, yesterday met with Tajik Foreign Minister Hamrokhon Zarifi at the end of her tenure to Tajikistan, according to the MFA information department.
In the course of the talks, the two discussed state and prospects of further expansion of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Canada in sectors like hydropower engineering and mining.
Zarifi expressed gratitude to Ambassador Skok for her fruitful work in promoting expansion of relations of friendship and cooperation between Tajikistan and Canada, the MFA information department said.
