DUSHANBE, July 23, 2009, Asia-Plus -- State and prospects of economic cooperation between Tajikistan and France were a major topic of a meeting of Finance Minister Safarali Najmiddinov with French Ambassador to Tajikistan Henry Zipper de Fabiani that was held in Dushanbe on July 22, according to press service of the Ministry of Finance (MoF).
In the course of the talks, the two considered a broad range of issues related to prospects of further expansion of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and France in the fields of finance, tax policy, and attraction of investments.
They also exchanged vies on effects of the global financial crisis on economies of the two countries and measures taken to mitigate those effects, the press service said.
