DUSHANBE, July 30, 2009, Asia-Plus -- Bilateral meeting of President Emomali Rahmon with his Afghan counterpart, President Hamid Karzai that was held in Dushanbe yesterday resulted in signing of two cooperation documents, according to the Tajik MFA.
Chairman of Tajik State Committee for National Security (GKNB) Khairiddin Abdurahimov and Afghan Foreign Minister Ranging Dadfar Spanta signed a protocol on making changes to the government-to-government agreement between Tajikistan and Afghanistan on border crossing checkpoints of April 27, 2005.
Tajik Ministry of Agricultures and Afghan Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on cooperation in combating pests.
