QURGHON TEPPA, July 30, 2009, Asia-Plus  -- Two Chinese companies will build a large cement plant in Khatlon’s Danghara district.

Chairman of the Danghara district Mahmaullo Saydaliyev remarked this yesterday while speaking to reporters in Danghara.  According to him, the plant will have the rated capacity of one million tons of cement per year.

“Recently, we received a letter from these companies, in which they ask to allot them land for construction of the plant,” said Saydaliyev, “Our specialists are currently working to define the place for the future plant that will be one of the largest industrial enterprises in the district.”

According to him, 16 industrial enterprises have been registered in Danghara; three of them have not been in operation since the beginning of this yea, while several others have reduced production volumes over the report period.
