KHUJAND, August 28, 2009, Asia-Plus -- 20 border facilities, including frontier outposts, barracks for soldiers, residential buildings for officers, check points, canteens, are expected to have been built in the Sughd province by the end of this year, according to the Sughd regional administration.
“500,000 somoni have bee allocated from the budget for these purposes,” said the source, “Funds have been allocated from local budgets as well. Eight of these facilities should be finished already in August-September.”
