DUSHANBE, September 12, 2009, Asia-Plus -- The winners of this year’s competition “Commonwealth of Debuts” have been announced, according to press release issued by the CIS Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation (IFHC).
Among the winners are young teachers from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia and Tajikistan.
Established by the CIS Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation (IFHC), the award is given to young specialists for their contributions in the area of humanitarian cooperation.
In 2008, the competition “Commonwealth of Debuts” was conducted among young poets, while this year, the competition was conducted among young teachers under the age of 30.
According to the IFHC spokesman Aleksandr Kalugin, the teacher at Dushanbe’s Presidential Lyceum for Talented Children, Safarali Saidov, won the competition in the “Russian Language” nomination.
An award ceremony for the winners will be held on sidelines of the Fourth Forum of the CIS Intelligentsia in Chisinau, Moldova on September 24, 2009, the spokesman said.
