DUSHANBE, September 28, Asia-Plus -- On Saturday September 26, President Emomali Rahmon made a short stopover in Dubai on his way from New York to Dushanbe, according to president press service.
In Dubai, President Rahmon held talks with Dr. Mansur, the State Adviser to the King of Saudi Arabia.
Dr, Mansur conveyed best wishes of Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud. King of Saudi Arabia, to President Rahmon and expressed readiness of his country for further expansion of multi-sided cooperation with Tajikistan.
During the meeting it was stressed that Saudi Arabia as one of the largest countries in the Islamic world would promote assistance to Tajikistan under conditions of the global financial and economic crisis, the press service said.
